Hope Reins, Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates at Marcody Ranch. With the help of volunteers and generous community contributors, Hope Reins strives to improve the lives of special needs riders of all ages using a high quality program.
Therapeutic Riding is a growing treatment for rehabilitating a range of physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. Conditions served include: cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, post-traumatic brain injury, autism, ADHD, and cognitive disorders. Riders experience increased self-confidence and improvement in strength, balance, coordination, attention span, language and social skills.
Founded in 2008, Hope Reins conducts Therapeutic Riding year-round, with three PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, approximately 35 weekly clients and over 50 trained volunteers.
Hope Reins is Path International Member Center.
